I have been practicing 26+2 hot yoga since 2012; attending over 5,000 classes! I have suffered with severe back/neck pain in the past and have found that the heat and types of postures performed have really improved my flexibility, toning and overall well being. I wanted to be able to share my love for yoga with others and so opened Chez Sal in June 2018. My team and I can’t wait to welcome you!
LORRAINE CARLILE

Lorraine discovered 26+2 hot yoga in her mid 20's and initially kept up a regular practice to realign her body and sooth aches and pains after dance rehearsals and performances. She loved the discipline of yoga and attributes her practice for sustaining her mentally and physically throughout her long dance career.

Lorraine has been teaching since 2009 and more recently qualified as a Vinyasa teacher.
Upon completing her degree in Nutrition and Exercise, Katherine trained to become a 26+2 Yoga instructor in Los Angeles 7 years ago and hasn't looked back! One of her favourite yoga moments was when she was able to fully complete the standing head to knee very early on in her training and now likes to see her students also achieve their yoga goals.

Originally from NZ, Sam relocated to Surrey in 1998. Sam embarked on her yoga journey starting with 26+2 Yoga and subsequently completing her 500hr immersion training in California. Sam's teaching style is inclusive and fun. Her main focus is that her students enjoy and 'experience' something during class, as well as simply 'achieve' something, and knowing that for some, sometimes just showing up on your mat is the biggest challenge of all.
FLORENCE BREEZE
INSTRUCTOR
Florence started her yoga practice in 2012 when she stepped into a hot yoga class room not knowing what she was in for. She was wearing warm tracksuit bottoms, a rather thick T-Shirt and giggled during the breathing exercises. Yet, she instantly fell in love with the intense cleansing and purifying effects of hot yoga. Her sleep improved from day one, she found new strength, grounding, discipline and Self Love.
There was no other outcome for her but to take on the joy and responsibility of spreading the deep love and light of yoga to others.
Florence has been passionately teaching since 2014, and more recently Yin yoga. In her classes she prioritises the breath, with a focus on technique and alignment underpinned by compassion and discipline.

What is 26+2 Hot Yoga?
26+2 hot yoga is a precise asana series of 26 postures and 2 pranayama breathing exercises that allow fresh oxygenated blood to flow through all of your body by warming and stretching muscles, tendons and ligaments. Each posture is performed twice during the 90-minute class in a +40°C room and is instructed by a professional who guides you through the moving meditation.

26+2 hot yoga classes are practised at Chez Sal at the following times:

Saturday - 9:00 - 10:30

THE STUDIO
The 26+2 hot yoga classes are 90 minutes long and are held at my 'studio' in Hampshire. The room temperature is approx. 40°C with a humidity of approx. 35%.
​
I have four excellent instructors who will assist you through the classes and will adapt any positions for those with injuries, post surgery, pregnancy etc.
​
There is availability for 10 yogi's per class and I recommend it is suitable for anyone over the age of 16. The studio doors open 30 minutes before the class starts so please arrive early enough to utilise this time to relax and prepare for the class.

What to bring?
Unfortunately due to COVID-19, I can no longer provide yoga mats, towels and refreshments so please bring your own. I advise you avoid wearing loose clothing and come in active wear such as leggings, shorts, crop tops etc. Classes are performed bare footed so just bring a change of clothes for afterwards as well as water for the class (there is a water fountain available to refill). Showers are available post class and I provide shampoo/conditioner/body wash, however you are welcome to bring your own.
